The View

This view looks to the west along Princes Street towards the monument to the Edinburgh author, Sir Walter Scott.  This view was from the North British Station Hotel, looking over the flower gardens on the roof of the Waverley Market.

Horse-drawn vehicles and shop awnings can be seen along Princes Street on the right-hand side of the picture.
