This postcard is "No 81" in the "Castle Series, Edinburgh". The style of numbering matches earlier photos by James Patrick, so this may be a continuation of the same series. However, I think it unlikely that it was taken by James Patrick. Judging by the cars the photo appears to have been taken around the 1930s or 1940s. James Patrick was born in 1867. I don't know the date of his death. |
