Note the large ship berthed at Middle Pier in

The Corner of Granton Road and Boswall Road
Granton Road with its ornate posts
for the tram wires leads straight ahead then round the corner and down the
hill to Granton Square.
Boswall Road, leads to to the
right, to the east, towards Challenger Lodge, now St Columba's
Hospice. |
Note the large house. It later
became the Royal Forth Yacht Club clubhouse, and is now residential
accommodation.
The elm tree to the left is now
larger. The old white telephone box is at the top of Wardie Steps in this
photo but has since
been removed. There are now large gates in the wall (behind the man)
and the letter box has been moved to the left of these gate. |
