Here is a view of the Mercat Cross in the Royal Mile, Edinburgh. The crowd is gathered to hear the Proclamation of King Edward VII. The publisher's name on the card is Patrick, Edinr. There is no indication as to whether it is the work of John Patrick or James Patrick. The style of print is quite distinctive and different from any other postcards that I have seen by either John or James Patrick. |
