Postcard This is one of several postcards of the Granton area of Edinburgh, published by W Smith, Goldenacre. This card was was written at Lufra Cottage, on the high ground above Granton Harbour and in line with Granton Eastern Breakwater. Lufra cottage is close to the position where this photo was taken from. Eastern Breakwater runs along the right-hand side of this picture, then turns to the left towards the harbour entrance. Middle Pier is on the left of this picture, with the end of Granton Western Harbour above it. This card was posted on June 25, 1920. Does anybody recognise any of the boats in the harbour? |
