The school was built in 1901.

This card was one of several postcards of the North Merchiston area of Edinburgh published by Percy Stubbs. (He was not a related to me, so far as I know.)  His address was 44 Ashley Terrace, the street in this photo.

This card has a divided back, so it must have been published in 1902 or later.  The message in the stamp box on the back of the card begins "POSTAGE INLAND 1/2d" so the card must have been published in 1918 or earlier.  Hence my estimated date of "Around 1910"
