Tuck's "Oilette" series Here is a postcard from the Raphael Tuck & Sons' "Oilette" Edinburgh Series II (7322). This card has not been sent through the post to Calvados, France, in 1908 Tuck's "Oilette" cards often have a brief description of the subject on the reverse, but there is no such description on this card. |

Location Heriot's Hospital, now Heriot's school lies less than a quarter of a mile from Edinburgh Castle, to the south of the castle. This view looks to the south across the school playground, with school master, towards the back of the school. Edinburgh Royal Infirmary is in the background. |
