Location Bonaly Wester is a roads with new housing to the west of Bonaly Road, close to the Lothian Buses terminus of Route 10 at Bonaly shops: |

Bonaly Road leads to the south from Colinton, up the hill towards the Pentland Hills. Even here, in one of the higher parts of Edinburgh snow tends not to lie on the ground for many days a year. But when this photo was taken on December 22, 2009, there was enough snow for sledging. |
