Canongate

This section of the Canongate, up to the junction with New Street is the southern boundary of the proposed Caltongate development.  The junction with New Street is just visible in this photo.  A white van is turning into New Street in front of the lighter buildings on the right.

Developers propose to demolish the buildings with the gables at 'this side' of New Street, and to build a new hotel in their place.
