Beside the Water of Leith

Snow

This photo was taken at about 12.50pm on November 29, 2010, following the first heavy snowfall of the winter in Edinburgh.  It is unusual for Edinburgh to see so much snow at this time of year.

Snowplough

This snowplough is crossing the Water of Leith at Dean Path, in Dean Village and is about to approach the foot of Bell's Brae.  The old school on the northern bank of the Water of Leith is behind the snowplough.
