Here is a view of the tram passing the links at Cockenzie
on the Firth of Forth. The scene on the links looks
remote, though it is only about ten miles from the centre of
Edinburgh.
The message on the postcard, posted to Edinburgh on 28 August
1919 is:
"I hope you are
well. We are all well here. Cecil running wild .
We sit on the beach and take nice walks up in the country.
I have only had one wet day. Kind regards." |
