Forth Bridge

The photo above was taken from High Street, South Queensferry, looking to the NE towards the Forth Bridge.  The bridge opened in 1890.

Forth Road Bridge

Here is another photo of the same lamp post, but looking to the NE towards the Forth Road Bridge .  The Forth Road Bridge opened in 11964 and replaced the ferries on the Queensferry Passage, the crossing between South Queensferry and North Queensferry.
