Forth Road Bridge

Thank you to Brien Towler, Australia, for allowing me to reproduce this photograph of the Forth Road Bridge under construction.   This photo was taken by Brien while serving on HMS Lochinvar at Port Edgar, close to the construction site for the Forth Road Bridge at South Queensferry.

This photo was probably taken in 1962.  The bridge opened on September 4, 1964.
