Granton Harbour

This view looks down on Granton Harbour from Wardie.

-  Granton gasometers are at the extreme left of the picture, about two miles away.

-  Cramond Island is about four miles away and the Forth Bridge about eight miles away.

-  A large area of land around the gasometers, together with Middle Pier,  Western Harbour and the Western Breakwater all lie within Edinburgh Waterfront.

Edinburgh Waterfront is a site being developed over a period of about fifteen years from 2003.  Development is now well underway.  Cranes can be seen preparing the ground and reclaiming some of the land in Western Harbour.
