Beating the Retreat

Pipers make their way up the lower slopes of Arthur's Seat in Queen's Park, towards Hunter's Bog. 

They are later to emerge from behind the hill on the left of this picture and march down the slope to the Parade Ground in front of Holyrood Palace as part of the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony on 17 August 2003.
