Inchkeith - Zeebrugge-Rosyth Ferry - Summer Sky This view looks down the Firth of Forth towards the Island of Inchkeith, off Leith, in the centre of this photo. The photo was taken from the promenade at Silverknowes on a fine summer morning in July 2009. The coast of Fife on the northern side of the Firth of Forth can be seen on the left-hand side of the photo. A plane has just passed over Inchkeith and is approaching, heading for Edinburgh Airport, about five miles away. The island of Inchkeith, off Leith, is in the centre of the photo. |
