An Accident Thank you to Dorothy Addison (née Jenkins), now living in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada, for allowing me to reproduce this postcard of Joppa. Dorothy used to live above the store at the corner of Morton Street and Joppa Road in the 1940s. Dorothy says that this photo was taken through the window of her home, possibly in 1947. Perhaps it was a taken a few years later. The second car from the right looks to me to be a Ford Popular or similar, first produced in 1953. |
