The Clark Family
"Archie joined the Lovat Scouts, along
with two of his cousins, in the 1st World War. When he came out after the
war, he joined Edinburgh City Police as a Mounted Policeman. (I will send
photos of him in uniform on horseback.)
When retired from Police, he became a security
man at the General Register House, Princes Street, Edinburgh.

When he died he was given all the honours at
the funeral. The coffin was led by a police horse."
