Water of Leith and Royal Botanic Garden I have seen a heron, frequently: - on the Water of Leith at Canonmills - 1/4 mile from the Royal Botanic Garden. - on the Water of Leith at Warriston - 1/2 mile from the Royal Botanic Garden. I have also seen one (possibly the same one) in the Royal Botanic Garden: - at the small waterfall in the rock garden. - at the small pond that used to be in the NW corner of the garden. - at the pool beside the Chinese Pavilion, where this photo was taken. |
