China
Spring Lantern Festivals are
an ancient public ritual, traditionally celebrated in China on the
fifteenth day of the first month of the Chinese New Year. They mark the
end of the series of Chinese New Year celebrations each year.
During the Lantern Festivals, children traditionally go out at night
carrying bright decorated lanterns. |
