The UK & Irish Tree Climbing Championships are staged by the UK Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. The championships were set up in 1976 to promote safe working practices for tree surgeons. Here, we see the Scottish heat of the championships, held in Edinburgh's Royal Botanical Garden on the weekend of June 10 to 11, 2006, the same weekend as the Treefest Scotland exhibition was held in nearby Inverleith Park. |
