Seafield is an industrial area beside the Firth of Forth between Leith and Portobello. This view looks to the east towards Portobello, with industries to the left of the rough road. A taxi is perched high above the yard of a firm of steam cleaners. UPDATE I visited this area again a few weeks later, on 31 October 2005. I found that the steam cleaning company had moved and that the taxi on the roof in the picture above had been scrapped. |
