Empty coal wagons

Seafield

Here, is the tail end of a coal train, having just passed under the footbridge beside the level crossing at the junction of Marine Esplanade and Seafield Road.  This train is heading for Leith Docks, about half a mile further west, to collect imported coal for power stations in England and Scotland.

A freight train of empty coal wagons reverses into Leith Docks to piick up imported coal for delivery to power stations
