"The Loony Dook"

South Queensferry

Mini at South Queensferry for the Loony Dook

The Mini belonged to one of the spectators.  It was dressed as a highland cow, and had a horn to match!

Mini

A photograph of what appeared to be the same Mini, but with a different registration number (V4 RDY) parked in the Grassmarket, Edinburgh, was published in the Edinburgh Evening News on November 18, 2010.

The paper reported that:

-  the car had been dubbed Entente Cow-diale and had been decorated by Peter Vardy, who has a car dealership in Seafield Road, Edinburgh, to participate in the Beaujolais Run in November 2010.

-  The Beaujolais Run is an annual maze-like drive where competitors have to navigate across Europe to bring back a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau, which has just been released.
