The Governor's House

Calton Jail closed and was demolished to make way the new Government building, St Andrew House, in Regent Road.  All that now remains of the old jail is the Governor's House, situated beside the south-east corner of Calton Graveyard, overlooking the eastern end of Waverley Station.

The view above is of the Governor's House, taken with a telephoto lens from Calton Hill.
