Dressing Room
The photo at the top of
this page is of the Dressing Room at Lauriston Castle. Like
the other rooms in the caste, this still has the fittings that were
in use when the house was last occupied in 1926.
The fittings included a heated towel rail, a luxurious rarity at
the time when it was fitted in 1903, and on the right of this photo
in the background, a Louis XV-style fauteuil lavatory seat.
