2010
This photo was taken on a
bleak morning in October 2010.
Since being refurbished
following the fire in 2004, the Old Chain Pier re-opened. I believe
that management of the Old Chain Pier has changed at least once, possibly
more times since the fire.
This view looks to the west
along Trinity Crescent that borders the Firth of Forth, towards the Old
Chain Pier on the extreme left, and behind it, the pumping station at the western end of Trinity
Crescent, at the foot of East Trinity Road.
This photo was taken at low
tide. At high tide, the Firth of Forth comes up as far as the wall
on the left.
One of the rooms in the Old Chain Pier overhanging the Firth of Forth
can be seen in this photo. |
