Omni Centre and  Two Giraffes

This view looks down Leith Walk towards Leith

The buildings in the background are in Union Place and Antigua Street.  Both are part of the western side of Leith Walk, close to its junction with London Road.

The two giraffes stand in front of the Omni Centre.

The message around the feet of the giraffes reads:

Giraffes!  -  a People

Who live between the earth and skies

Each in his own religious steeple

Keeping a lighthouse with his eyes
