Looking to the NW This photo was taken in cold weather, on St Andrew's Day, November 30, 2010. This view looks to the SE. Two buses in their smart light-blue livery can be seen arriving from the Airport on Service 100, and turning around the roundabout beside the Lothian Transport ticket office at the foot of Cockburn Street. Part of the helter skelter, one of the attractions in the funfair in East Princes Street Gardens (close to where Waverley Bridge meets Princes Street) can just be seen through the stonework at the lower-left corner of this photo. |
