This image is derived, using Photoshop,  from a photograph was taken on the afternoon that the Queen officially opened the new Scottish Parliament Building  -  9 October 2004. 

Three photographers walk past the two policemen on duty at the foot of the Royal Mile.  In the background is a mural on the outer wall of the Scottish Parliament.
