Standard Life Offices

In 1996, Standard Life moved into its newly built Head Office at 30 Lothian Road,  in Edinburgh's new financial district, 'The Exchange.'

This photograph was taken looking to the NW from the corner of Lothian Road and the Western Approach Road.  The no. 22 bus is at its last bus stop in the Western Approach Road and is about to turn left into Lothian Road.

St John's Church at the West End of Princes Street can be seen in the background on the extreme-right of the picture.
