Canonmills Bakery

Canonmills Bakery and confectioners' shop have been on the site beside Clark Stonemasons at Canonmills (now Canon Court) for many years.

I photographed work inside the bakery in the 1990s.  But when I took the photographs above in March 2006, the bakery and shop appeared to be no longer in business.

The low building at the right-hand edge of the 2006 picture is the side of the Canonmills Baptist Chapel.  This March 2006 picture was taken in better weather than  the small November 2004 picture above.
