He describes this as a  classic late-1960s merry-go-round train on the Millerhill to Roslin branch carrying coal from Bilston Glen colliery to Cockenzie power station.

David tells me that the locomotive was a Clayton, one of a class that was hurriedly rushed into service and proved to be unreliable.
