This view looks down from the Mound to the north-west over West Princes Street Gardens.  Prominent features, from left to right are:

-  Edinburgh Castle - in foreground on the hill.

-  St Cuthbert's Church close to St John's Church

-  St John's Church at the West End of Princes Street

-  The fountain in Princes Street Gardens with fountain.
