Edinburgh Castle from Port Hopetoun

This view of Edinburgh Castle from Port Hopetoun was published in 1890 in  Old & New Edinburgh.  It shows Edinburgh Castle from the Union Canal, an engraving based on a drawing by Ewbank.

The canal was built between 1817 and 1822, so would have been almost new when Ewbank made his drawing.
