Christmas Party

Around 1960

"This photo of Mrs Guthrie's 'Toy' School was taken at a Christmas Party around 1960, when we were all dressed up in our 'Sunday Best', the boys in their bow ties and the girls in party dresses.

The nursery was located in the back courtyard between Dean Street and Bedford Crescent."

There are lots of local people in these photos.  I could probably still name a few of them as many attended Flora Stevenson’s with us after this.  In this photo:

-  My sister, Janice is in the front row 2nd from the right.

-  I am sitting to her left (looking innocent)

-  My cousin, Derek, is in the middle row in the white shirt."
