The Foot of the Stairs

"I've come across this picture, taken at the foot of our stair at 1 Ramsay Lane. The building was originally built as a Dr Guthrie's Ragged School.

The photo was taken by a Scandinavian tourist, who sent me a copy. This would be around 1956 I think.

The signs for Thomas Good, Monumental Sculptor, and the Castle Wynd Press are on the wall.

Left to right:

-  my sisters, Helen, Mary and Joan

The Camera Obscura now occupies the whole building."
