Thank you to Charlie Keddie who wrote: Salvesen Residents' Association Annual Picnic "Here is a photo of a day out organized by the Salvesen Residents Association, taken by the Edinburgh Evening News round about 1949/50. The picture was taken at the corner of Salvesen Terrace (now Marine Drive, I think) and Salvesen Gardens. I am in the picture at the front left with the striped tee shirt. We were taken every year to a Miners' Welfare Institute and Sports Ground for a picnic." Charlie Keddie: March 23, 2014 |
