Sciennes Primary School "I would have been in my third class at Sciennes, around 1953, when this photo was taken. I can always remember the Outside Toilets at the school, that were freezing, and all that marching up and down all those stairs to the music being played I had a great time there and loved it, but not always. Having the belt but it did me no harm. Miss Dalrymple was my teacher with Miss Clay who told me off for having long nails. To this very day, I still have long nails. Great memories! I visited Scotland just recently and went back to my old School, and it looks very much the same to me These are the names that I remember (left to right in each row): |
