Seat Repairs

Here, repairs are being carried out to seats for the LRT buses.  At the time, there were large piles of seats stacked up at Shrubhill, awaiting repair.  Today (in 2008) the buses are fitted with fabric seats, rather than the plastic style seen here.

In common with many other work places, 'pin-up' calendars can be seen (out of focus) in the background.  At the time that I took this photo, there was talk of legislation being introduced to ban such calendars in workplaces.  I don't know whether or not the legislation was ever enacted.
