Edinburgh Old Town Fire - Dismantling of the Cowgate wall

The workers here are dismantling bricks from the 6th floor of the building in the Cowgate. This photograph was taken on Friday 20 December. Later the same day, the whole of the wall in the Cowgate (except for an arched portion at the base) collapsed. |
