Glenrothes

Glenrothes is one of Scotland's New Towns, built in the mid-1900s.  It lies to the north of Kirkcaldy.

The station has two platforms, with a very long walk for disabled passengers to reach platform 2 from platform 1.

The station waiting room in this photo is more like a bus shelter.  It has a little graffiti, but probably not for long!  I have visited over 200 stations in Scotland over the past few years and have only seen graffiti a couple of times.
