New Railings "I have set up 'Friends of Gardners Crescent' group, with a view amongst other things to renewing the cast iron railings which used to be there. All the photographs I can find only show the crescent later than about 1940. A lot of people tell me photographs of an earlier date exist, but all promises to let me have a copy seem to vanish when I try to follow up." - Derek Ainsley: November 8, 2007 |
