This view looks to the west across George IV Bridge.

Cycles are attached to the railings of the bridge over Merchant Street, a short street leading off Candlemaker Row.

The railings in this picture are between Central Library and the statue of Greyfriars Bobby.  The building on the left in this picture is 'The Elephant House' restaurant and coffee house.
