Market Gardens

This photo was taken from upstairs on a No 8 bus as it turned from Ferry Road (upper-right) into Granton Road (lower-left).  It was fortunate that the cars were at the traffic lights, adding a little colour to the photo.

I took the photo to show the white house on the corner, I am told used to belong to a market garden that lay to the east side of the southern end of Granton Road.       [Acknowledgement:  John Stevenson, Trinity, Edinburgh, for telling me this.]
