This view is from the bridge at Yeaman Place, about half a mile west of the Edinburgh end of the canal at Edinburgh Quay, Fountainbridge. This view looks to the west, along the canal towards Merchiston where George Heriot's School and Watson's School Rowing Clubs have their boat houses. On the right are the backs of the tenements in Watson Crescent. On the left are the backs of the tenements in Temple Park Crescent. |
