'Now & Then'

I took this photo almost 19 years ago, but thought it was an appropriate image to add to the web site on Christmas Day.

I'm please to say that the shop is still at West Crosscauseway and is still owned by  David Gordon.  The photo below was taken in his shop doorway, in 2009.

The shop sells old toys, models, adverts, telephones, radios, pre-WW1 office and domestic equipment, and smaller antiques and bric-a-brac.

The paint on the shop has faded a little since 1991, but the content of the shop is still interesting.
