United Free Church of Scotland

Here is a photograph was taken by F C Inglis on Friday 24 May 1929.  Almost all heads are turned towards the camera.

This photograph was published in the supplement to The Record, July 1929, and was described as 'The Last General Assembly of the United Free Church of Scotland'.

1929 was the year that the United Free Church of Scotland amalgamated again with the Church of Scotland, except for a few of the former who continued outside the amalgamation.   The United Free Church of Scotland still exists today, 2005.
