The first Edinburgh
Marathon for 17 years is to be held on Sunday 15 June 2003.
The 26.2 mile route leads from Meadowbank
Stadium:
- through Queen's Park
- through the Old Town of Edinburgh
- along Princes Street
- past Meadowbank Stadium to
Portobello
- along the shores of the Firth of
Forth to Silverknowes
- along cycle tracks to Leith
- back to Meadowbank stadium
About 4,000 runners are expected to compete. |
