2006
The Great Scottish Walk takes place on
Sunday, June 18. This is a charity walk with three courses, 1-mile,
6-miles and 12-miles.
8,000 entrants are expected for the 2006 Walk
which will begin at 11am on Sunday June 18, led by the George Watson
College Pipes & Drums.
The routes are:
- 6-mile:
Holyrood Park (part circuit), Old Town, Princes Street, Meadowbank
Stadium.
- 12-mile: Holyrood Park (complete
circuit), Old Town, Princes Street, Leith, Meadowbank Stadium.
